ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Contribute to various database driven web applications within the Java framework

Communicate with end users to develop custom web based applications using the markets leading technologies

Full Life Cycle development of cutting-edge web applications used by the business community

All development will be web based within the Java framework. Specific programming languages to be used are Java/J2EE, JavaScript, HTML and CSS

QUALIFICATIONS:

2-3+ years of experience developing web based, Java applications

Java/J2EE

JavaScript

HTML/XHTML

CSS and XML

Must have strong communication skills

Must possess a desire to learn new technologies and to continue growing both professionally and personally

Must have delivered production-level Java web applications

Ideal candidate will have an interest in Business and how technology and business can be implemented to develop web based applications

BONUS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Enthusiasm towards learning new technologies and incorporating business processes into web development

Spring

Hibernate

Swing

Drools

Experience working within an agile development methodology like Scrum is a plus

Desire to grow into a senior programmer and eventually server as a mentor to others

Experience developing internationalized/localized solutions is a plus
