Java Software Engineer

This position will create enterprise-caliber Java systems with an eye towards internet security coding and standards. The position will work with a small development team, with the expectation of being able to carry out a task independently and with little supervision. The position is expected to interface extensively with QA and Product Management.

The position requires a solid and experienced Java programmer having developed applications using the Struts framework.  Security experience using toolkits that implement PKCS7, PKCS10, PKCS12, X.509, digital signatures, digital signature verification, key stores or certificate chains is desirable. Experience developing web services applications is desirable.

Duties:

Make enhancements to our current SSL products
Design and implement software for new products integrated into current architecture
Security-related coding and design
Disciplined use of systems and procedures for build, source control and bug tracking
Comprehensive and extensive unit testing, Junit and otherwise.

Required Skills:


Java (Sun J2SE/JDK1.x, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Junit), 5+ yrs
OO software design
HTML
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
SOAP/Web Services
Jakarta Struts
Oracle (preferably Oracle 11) and SQL

Additional Plusses:

5 to 7 years experience
Proficiency with cryptography toolkits, particularly Bouncycastle
Cryptography, PKI, WSTEP protocol, digital certificates, encryption, SSL expertise
Written secure applications in Java
BEA Weblogic Server/Workshop
Microsoft CAPI
