Position Title: Senior Software Engineer

Position Description:
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an agile software development environment, including emergent architecture, changing requirements, and changing priorities (SCRUM, Agile, XP, etc.). In addition, the Agile Senior Software Engineer will be a reliable team player devoted to completing assigned tasks on schedule with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Design software for testability and rigorous, automated testing
-Actively participate in requirements review, analysis and planning
Secondary Responsibilities:
-Execute quality assurance testing on own software before delivery to QA department
-Provide technical support for the application by diagnosing and correcting software malfunctions
-Provide technical expertise to applications developers
Minimum Requirements:
-8+ years of object-oriented software design and development experience (Java is required)
-Experience in Agile environment is strongly preferred
-Problem solving aptitude
-Solid team skills (team-player)
-Highly motivated
-Strong analytical skills
-Demonstrated problem solving, planning and organizational skills
-Strong written and interpersonal communication
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge and experience with: JDBC, Hibernate, REST, Servlets, Flex 3.0 Action Script, XML, XSLT, MVC and IoC frameworks and concepts, Oracle RDBMS, EDI, HL7, X12, TCP/IP, Eclipse and/or IntelliJ IDE
