Senior Java UI Developer
Looking for talented Senior Java Developer with a strong background in Java User Interface (UI) development.
Key functions include writing proposals (high level design scoping and estimates), specifications, functional specifications, detailed designs, code and unit tests. Must have a proven history of delivering high quality code on time. Must be able to work independently or closely with team members and members of other departments. Must be well grounded in best engineering practices and object oriented design concepts – familiarity with Agile development a plus.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science (or related major)
- Excellent analytic skills
- Good communication skills
- 7+ years experience developing OO solutions using Swing, MVC, J2EE, Java app servers, Junit
- Experience with SWT or Netbeans
- Experience with multiple types of user interfaces: Swing or other rich client UIs, web frameworks, JSP
- Ajax or GWT a plus
- Experience developing applications using the Eclipse IDE
