Announcement: Development and Application Support Engineer


Client is seeking a Development Support Application Engineer to join their growing Application Support and Development Team. This qualified person will support and develop enhancements to new and existing financial and holding company applications.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•As a senior technical resource supporting and integrating vendor provided financial and data warehouse applications for the businesses financial units: Deposit & Cash Management, Investment Management, Commercial Lending and Residential Mortgage.
•Work with project managers and other team members to enhance and support the company’s application portfolio including the CRM, finance, operations, compliance, business intelligence and image processing systems.
•As a technical resource for support and development of .Net web software applications including the corporate website

•Assist application owners with unit testing, regression testing, script testing, user acceptance testing and test environment support.
•Create systems development life cycle documents or assist team members in the creation of project management methodology documents.
•Work with Application Support and Development team members to develop and maintain application support documentation for the bank’s suite of applications.

Qualifications:
•Application Support experience with financial and data warehouse applications.
•SQL programming skills including: reporting services, writing scripts and creating packages.
•Strong .Net or Dynamic HTML (DHTML) application support, development and implementation experience.
•Strong ability to manage existing and new vendors, their application(s) and services.
•Proven experience analyzing system performance, data loads and data integrity.
•Demonstrated ability to document application support methodology and procedures.

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent and 5+ years of technical application support experience.
Additional experience and familiarity with the following technologies a plus:
o C++
o Visual Basic Development

o  Java
o Internet Information Server (IIS)
o VBScript
o ColdFusion

•Familiarity with the following systems a plus:
o Fiserv CBS
o SEI
o ONYX
o Prime
o Synergy
o Fundtech/PayPlus
